In the German Eastern Business Association and its supporting organizations such as the Federation of German Industries (BDI), we have valuable contacts with relevant economic players, suppliers and customers in Germany and large parts of Eastern Europe, Southern Europe and Central Asia.

Thanks to our membership of Wirtschaftsverband Großhandel Metallhalbzeug e.V. (WGM) – the specialist organization for German and European distributors and processors of non-ferrous semi-finished products with more than 80 member companies – we are part of another important network, allowing us to enjoy the benefits of important information, training content, consultancy services and exciting projects.

As a member of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Stahl- und Metalldistribution (ARGE-SMD), which represents the interests of Austrian distributors of steel and non-ferrous metals, we are always informed about the needs of our customers in Austria in order to convince them with our products and services on site. With a further 28 member companies, the platform is ideal for exchanging views on the economy, industry trends and the challenges of the steel industry.

H+B was founded over 120 years ago. Today we are one of the largest family-led steel and metal distribution companies in Germany. Our tradition started with our founder Ferdinand Heine in 1901 and has continued with every generation. For example, innovations build a constant part of our business model and business processes.
