We are actively working to improve our energy efficiency and thus contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This is achieved through our energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001, which was successfully implemented across all Heine + Beisswenger locations at the end of 2016. This ensures the continuous improvement of our energy balance.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

As part of the ECOfit project of the Rems-Murr district, we first analyzed our environmental impact and then implemented effective measures to improve our environmental footprint. Building on the insights gained from the successful completion of the ECOfit project, we introduced an environmental management system based on the ISO 14001 standard. This allows us to further leverage environmental savings potential (e.g., energy, water, waste), strengthening our active contribution to resource-efficient and sustainable environmental management.

We are actively engaged alongside other companies in Baden-Württemberg to uphold our high standards. That’s why we are a certified WIN-Charta company, committing ourselves to the well-being of our employees, the reduction of emissions, and the continued creation of high-quality jobs in the region through successful business practices.

This is ensured, among other things, by our quality management system, which was introduced in 1998 and is regularly certified according to ISO 9001.
